HOUSTON – A man is dead after a three-vehicle crash at a toll booth on Thursday night, according to authorities.
Deputies said the driver of a white Dodge Durango was heading south approaching the Central Plaza toll booth around 9:30 p.m. when he lost control and went from an EZ Tag lane to a cash lane, deputies said.

Two vehicles were stopped in the cash lane when the driver of the Durango slammed into the back of a car, pushing it into the back of a pickup truck, investigators said.
The driver of the car, Willie Moore was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said.
The driver of the Durango was taken to a hospital. He was listed in serious condition. Deputies said the driver did not show signs of impairment.

The driver of the pickup truck was treated by the Houston Fire Department at the scene.
Witnesses told deputies that the driver of the Durango had been driving erratically prior to the crash.
No charges have been filed.
