HOUSTON – An 8-year-old boy died after he was pulled from a neighborhood pool and was found underwater Saturday in Richmond, Fort Bend County sheriff deputies said.
The incident was reported at Frontera Court and Rio Vista Drive.

The boy was flown by Life Flight to the Medical Center while receiving CPR, deputies said.
He did not know how to swim and wasn't supposed to go to the pool, Fort Bend County Sheriff's office officials said. Lifeguards were on duty and worked to perform CPR on the boy.
Officials announced the boy's death Sunday morning.
