KATY, Texas – A woman was killed and a man was arrested after a shooting Tuesday morning in a northwest Harris County neighborhood.
The shooting was reported about 7:30 a.m. at a home near the intersection of Blossombury court and Westerpine Lane. That is about 10 miles northeast of Katy.
According to Harris County investigators, an argument erupted Monday night between a 39-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, who live at the home with about 20 other people. The man left after the argument.
Investigators said the man returned Tuesday morning and shot the woman several times, killing her.
The man was arrested after deputies found him walking down nearby Clay Road, investigators said.
The identities of neither the suspect nor the victim were immediately released.
