HOUSTON – One person was injured Tuesday when a truck hit a building in southwest Houston.
The crash was reported about 9 a.m. at the corner of Elm and Mapleridge streets.
Houston police said one person inside the building was hit when the truck crashed.
Police said that the driver mistook the gas pedal for the brake and drove into the building.
KPRC2 reporter Syan Rhodes said the damage to the building appeared to be minor.
