HOUSTON – Brandon Walker considers it an honor to explore Houston as a reporter for KPRC 2 News. He joined the station in January 2015, and is no stranger to the heat and humidity of the Gulf Coast.
Brandon hails from New Orleans, where he cut his teeth in journalism as an intern and later assignments editor for WGNO-TV. The "business," as it is often called, hooked Brandon in at an early age. He ran scripts for anchors, operated the Teleprompter during newscasts and shadowed reporters at the station beginning when he was 16. The station offered him a chance to work at the assignment desk before he graduated high school.
