HOUSTON – A driver is recovering from burns after an early morning car fire.
Firefighters responded to reports of a car fire along the Northwest Freeway and Highway 6 around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

They found a Nissan Altima on fire.
Firefighters said the driver suffered second-degree burns as he was trying to remove items from the vehicle.
