CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – An unusual sight at a high school in Iowa, where resource officers had to lead a family of ducks through campus to safety.
The mother duck had apparently built a nest in an enclosed courtyard at Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, and then the ducklings hatched.

School resources officers tried moving the birds out of the courtyard so they could get closer to water. The only problem was the ducklings can't fly.
The officers had to coax the birds into the building, where after a long walk through campus, they eventually waddled out through the front doors to safety.
