HOUSTON –
The FBI Violent Crime Task Force is searching for two armed men accused of robbing at least three Houston banks.

The bank robbers are described as medium-built black men in their 20s, both 5 feet, 9 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall.
The most recent robbery was reported Friday at the Wells Fargo Bank at 14001 Memorial Drive.
Investigators said the masked robbers entered the bank armed with pistols and ordered all employees to the floor. One robber waited in the lobby and stood watch with his weapon over the employees, while the other went behind the teller counter and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from a teller drawer, police said.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
Investigators said the two men left in a stolen silver Hyundai Elantra, which was later recovered near the bank.
Police believe the same men are responsible for two other bank robberies in the Houston area: one at Wallis State Bank at 10055 Almeda Genoa Road on April 5 and another at Mercantil Bank at 3200 S. Shepherd Drive on April 3.
Investigators said the robbers fired gunshots during the robbery of Wallis State Bank, but no one was seriously hurt. The men got away with an undisclosed amount of cash in both robberies.
Investigators released photographs of the armed duo during their latest bank robbery, as well as a composite sketch of one of the armed robbers.
