HOUSTON – METRO is offering free rides to and from BBVA Compass Stadium for Houston Dynamo and Dash home games.
Attendees can show their match ticket or Season Ticket Member card on game day and ride METROrail to the stadium free of charge, according to METRO.

“Taking mass transit to major events gives you freedom. More and more folks are beginning to see that using METRO frees them from sitting in traffic,” Tom Lambert, METRO president and CEO, said. “It frees them from searching and paying for parking. Beginning today, Dynamo and Dash ticket holders can enjoy this freedom and arrive at the doorstep of BBVA Compass Stadium for free!"
METROrail has the Green Line and the Purple Line that both will serve the EaDo/Stadium station, located on Texas Avenue between St. Emanuel and Bastrop streets, directly adjacent to BBVA Compass Stadium.
The Red Line intersects with each of the other two at Central Station on Main Street in downtown.
These three lines total 23 miles of rail which passes through or near the Texas Medical Center and Rice University, Red Line South; the University of Houston and Texas Southern University and the Third Ward, Purple Line; downtown and The Heights, Red Line North; and EaDo and the East End, Green Line.
Saturday evening, the Dynamo’s home game is Star Wars Night. Characters from the movie will appear throughout the game.
On Sunday, the Dash’s home game is Dads and Daughters Day. A $40 special ticket package offers a pair of tickets and a postgame photo.
