SOMERVILLE, Texas – A high school teacher and coach was arrested, accused of inappropriate and unlawful conduct with a juvenile.
Twenty-eight-year-old Mike Christopher Vela, who taught at Somerville High School, is charged with online solicitation of a minor and sexual assault of a child.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office said it executed two felony arrest warrants on Vela Tuesday after a criminal investigation initiated earlier this month by the sheriff's office.
Investigators said Vela was arrested without incident at the high school where he is employed.
Vela is currently in jail on a $500,000 bond.
