HOUSTON – After a cold start on Christmas Day, temperatures are 25 to 30 degrees warmer this morning! The warmer temperatures are ahead of an approaching cold front.
Expect overcast skies today with a 40 percent chance of rain showers. An isolated thunderstorm is possible this afternoon.
There will be a greater chance for scattered thunderstorms and showers Saturday afternoon when the cold front moves through Southeast Texas.
Although temperatures will drop behind the cold front rain will linger as the front stalls just to our south. That will create a raw Sunday with temperatures in the 50s and light rain showers to wrap up the weekend.
Skies finally clear Monday with temperatures returning to the 60s with beautiful sunny skies.
