HWY 99 tollways between I-45, US-59 suspended until further notice due to flooding, officials say

HOUSTON – The Highway 99 toll roads between I-45 and U.S.-59 have been suspended in both directions until further notice, the Texas Department of Transportation announced Saturday afternoon.

TxDOT officials said the closure is in response to local authorities' calls for evacuations.
