JJ Watt, girlfriend step out together at Houston Rockets game

HOUSTONJ.J. Watt and Kealia Ohai made a rare public appearance Sunday at Toyota Center to take in Game one of the Rockets series with Oklahoma City.

The Texans star and three-time Defensive Player of the Year appeared to be back to his playing form.

Watt, upon arrival with Ohai, mixed it up with Rockets Guard Patrick Beverley before the couple took their courtside seats.

Watt and Ohai, who stars for the Houston Dash, have been an item snice late last year.

Throughout the night at Toyota Center, Houston’s hottest new couple sat arm and arm watching the Rockets rout the Thunder 118-87 to take a 1-0 series lead.

Watt and Ohai even shared a moment during the game itself with his buddy Patrick Beverley who was a spark in the Rockets win to open the series.

“Pat’s the man. I love that guy. I mean, the guys played awesome obviously. A big, big win for those guys. It’s a lot of fun. I think there’s a ton of excitement around Houston. I mean the way James (Harden) played all year long. The way those guys have really played all year. It’s really a blast to watch. It’s great to be part of it and to be able to have that to root for in your city,” Watt said Monday at NRG Stadium.

“He’s just so intense. Then that one time he came over to me and was just staring at me in the face for like 15 seconds. I was like, ‘Pat, I don’t know what you want me to do here man. I can’t really do anything.’ He was just staring me down. My girlfriend looked at me and was like, ‘That was kind of cool and it was kind of awkward all at the same time.’ I was like, “Yeah it was. I didn’t know what to do.’ But he just has a way of getting you fired up. He is, he’s like the wolverine out there. He is fearless. I just love the way that guy plays. It was a lot of fun to watch him put on a show.”

Watt is a big fan of the Rockets and look out for him to show up for Game 2 at Toyota Center.

At one point in the game, Watt was asked to put on a Rockets red shirt. The moment was captured on video and posted to the KPRC2 Instagram account. Watch it now:
