Woman, 64, accused of repeatedly vandalizing neighbor's property appears in court

TOMBALL, Texas – You could call it an unneighborly confrontation caught on camera.

The person seen swinging a club in the video is 64-year-old Dallas Lott, according to the person who recorded the video, Rodrigo Camus.

"Who would want to be here after all of these problems?" Camus said.

Camus claims the issues with his neighbor started in November after he had recently purchased a town home and planned to flip it.

What he said he didn't expect was a next-door neighbor having such a big problem with him to the point she started damaging his property.

So, he invested in security cameras and caught quite a bit on them.

"It's crazy glue inside every keyhole, metal pins inside the keyhole ... so you don't have access. All our for-sale signs, as you can see there are none, all of those she took them and threw those over the fence and spray painted on my windows," Camus said.

Camus said that although he reported the incidents multiple times to authorities, nothing ever happened to Lott for the more than $3,000 worth of damages.

That is at least until the most recent time, when he had video evidence, and lots of it.

"If they called me and said, 'Hey, she paid bond,' or whatever it is, $100 later she's back here and we start from square one," Camus said. "It'll be really frustrating."

With his next-door neighbor charged with felony criminal mischief and a misdemeanor criminal mischief charge, Camus said he can now focus on what he's prevented him from doing -- trying to sell his place.

"You get a call saying 'Hey! There's a showing,' and you get excited. Somebody's going to buy it, but I never get that chance because she would scare them before they even got here," Camus said.

Lott appeared in court Wednesday night and was released on a personal bond, which means no money was required for her release.

As a condition of Lott's bond, the judge ordered that she not have contact with Camus or his property.
