Man shot to death after apparent robbery in southwest Houston

HOUSTON – Authorities are trying to figure out what led up to a man’s death Monday after he was found shot inside a home in southwest Houston.

It happened a little after 9:45 p.m. when Houston police said they were called to a home on Ludington Drive off Fondren Road near W. Bellfort Avenue. That’s where investigators found an unidentified man shot to death.

Preliminary evidence suggests a potential robbery took place before the shooting, but police are combing through surveillance cameras and reaching out to witnesses as they work to piece a timeline together.
