Southbound lanes reopening on North Freeway at 610 after fatal crash

UPDATE: 8:06 a.m.

HOUSTON – Lanes on the North Freeway inbound at 610 are reopening following a deadly Sunday morning crash.

Authorities told KPRC 2 News reporter Ricky Muñoz that a pedestrian was attempting to run across the freeway when the person was struck by a car. The driver stayed at the scene.

HPD said the pedestrian was already deceased when they arrived.

HOUSTON - All southbound lanes on the North Freeway at 610 are closed as authorities work to clear a deadly crash involving a pedestrian, according to the Houston Police Department.

Authorities reported the crash around 4:14 a.m. Sunday.
