HOUSTON – A man facing deportation to El Salvador has been granted a 60 day reprieve.
Juan Rodriguez's family said he illegally immigrated to the U.S. in 2001 to be with his wife and first-born daughter.

He was denied temporary protected status, but stayed in the country after being told to return home voluntarily.
In February, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers told Rodriguez his time was up.
He was scheduled to be sent back to El Salvador on June 29, but he's now been given another 60 days so his case can be reviewed.
