HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Police are looking for the robber who shot a shot a man at an east Harris County apartment complex Friday.
Investigators said the thief jumped the victim about 10 p.m. as he walked home in the La Fayette Village Apartments. The robber held the man at gunpoint, demanded his wallet and other belongings before shooting him and running off, police said.

First responders took the victim to Memorial Hermann in serious condition.
Harris County robbery detectives are investigating.
