HOUSTON – A man was shot several times Friday morning at a Westchase apartment complex.
The shooting was reported about 12:30 a.m. at the Oaks of Westchase Apartments in the 2800 block of Wallingford Drive, near Meadowglen Lane.
According to Houston police, Eduardo Javier Rodgriguez, 29, was returning home after going to the store, when a man on a motorcycle pulled up next to him and opened fire, hitting the victim several times, including in the head. The man on the motorcycle fled the scene.
Police said Rodgriguez was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
