HOUSTON – A Garden Oaks homeowner said he woke up to find a burglar in his bedroom, according to Houston police.
It happened Thursday in the 300 block of West 33rd Street.
"It was spooky. It was spooky, no doubt about it," Ron Adair said.
It was 3:30 in the morning, so Adair didn't get a good look at the intruder, but he made sure the crook knew he'd been spotted.
"I yelled at them. I said, 'Get out of my house,' and that's what they did, as fast as they could, because by the time I got downstairs, they were gone," Adair said.
Police said the burglar got away with $200 in cash and a credit card.
