HOUSTON – Memorial city mall is one of Houston's most popular malls, and it should become even more popular with parents, when they open the world's largest mall play area.
It's called Frolic's Castle and is modeled on a medieval castle and features purple and green dragons as well as wizards and princesses.
The castle is three levels high and spans 3,000 square feet.
There are tunnels and slides and the castle can accommodate 165 visitors.
The castle was designed to encourage physical activity and dexterity.
There are also interactive play panels to offer less active play options for very young children.
There is even an area set aside for parents to read to their children.
Frolic's Castle will open at Memorial City Mall Saturday, October 18.
