HOUSTON – One person was killed and another person was hurt after a fatal one-vehicle accident Saturday morning.
The crash happened at about 8:50 a.m. in the 4900 block of Yarwell Drive, according to Houston police.

The victim has been identified as Kylie Fisher, 18.
The Houston Police Department released a statement that read in part:
"The victim was driving a silver Hyundai Accent eastbound at a high rate of speed in the 4900 block of Yarwell when she disregarded a stop sign, failed to drive in a single lane, and struck a concrete wall. She died at the scene. A male passenger, 17, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries."
