HOUSTON – A convenience store clerk shot and killed one of two men during a robbery in northwest Houston, according to police.
Investigators said two armed men in ski masks stormed into the store on West 34th and Mangum around 10 p.m. Saturday.

The men held one of the employees at gunpoint and demanded money from the register.
Another employee grabbed a gun, came around from the back and opened fire at one of the men.
He was shot and died at the store. The other grabbed money from the register and ran away.
Police are still searching for him.
Neither employee was hurt.
