Suspected serial knife robber arrested in Pasadena

PASADENA, Texas – Police believe they arrested a man possibly linked to several armed robberies in Pasadena and Houston.

Surveillance cameras recorded images of Dillon Brown seen in the stores. In one of the photos you can see a knife in his hand. Police said that’s the weapon Brown, 36, would use to threaten the workers and get what he wants.

“He held it up and said, ‘Give me all the money,’” said one man who asked not to be identified.

He was robbed last week at the Pizza Hut on Spencer Highway in Pasadena.

“I wasn’t going to take any chances of getting stabbed or cut or anything, I just gave him the money," the man said.

Police think Brown is linked to several other robberies including the Metro PCS store on Telephone Road and the Family Dollar on Park Place in Houston.

In Pasadena, police said Brown robbed the Barnes and Noble and Game Stop on Fairmont Parkway. Officers were in the area working those robberies on Tuesday when Brown’s getaway car was spotted nearby. An officer pulled him over and made the arrest.

“I’m very glad he’s caught,” said one of the victims. “Now he won’t do this again. It was one of the scariest moments of my life.”
