Texas A&M student found dead in home on Frat Row, police say

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – A Texas A&M student was found dead in his living room Sunday evening in College Station, police said.

College Station police responded to a call about 8 p.m. at a home in the 500 block of Fraternity Row, not a fraternity house, about an unconscious man who was not breathing.

Police said they found Andrew Sutter unresponsive in the living room. He was pronounced dead.

According to officials, Sutter’s roommate told police that Sutter has been sick for three days before his death. He also told police that he left Sutter napping in the living room early Sunday, and he returned that evening to find him not breathing and called 911, police said.

Police said an autopsy has been ordered and Sutter’s family has been notified.

The College Station Police Department criminal investigation division is investigating the case and asked anyone with information call 979-764-3600.
