The city's public works building was evacuated, according to reports. Smoke made its way into the building because it is connected to the garage.
The garage is also connected to City Hall and the Hobby Center, but it is not clear if those buildings were evacuated.
Authorities said only one vehicle was involved in the fire.
No injuries were reported.
