Deshaun Watson on playing Sunday against Bills: 'For sure'

HOUSTON – Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said he'd let the injury report speak for itself regarding the health of quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Watson took several hard hits in the Sunday Night Football overtime win against the Dallas Cowboys and was looked at by the athletic training staff multiple times during the game.

Asked if Watson had a chance to play on Sunday, O’Brien's response Wednesday was "Oh, yeah."

Watson responded similarly moments later when it was his turn at the podium.

Asked directly if he expected to play against the Bills, he said, "For sure."

"I feel good. I feel great," Watson said.

In describing how he felt after the game he said, "We got the 'W.' It was just another day at the office. Just getting ready for Buffalo. (Getting hit, taking punishment) is just part of the game."

After the game on Sunday, Watson said he was fine and felt good.

A report from the Houston Chronicle Tuesday said Watson was day-to-day with a chest injury.

"Everybody's getting ready for the Bills," O'Brien said about Watson. "Other than that, I'll let the injury report speak for itself."
