One person was killed Friday morning and another hospitalized after a crash on Highway 249 at Mosielee Street in northwest Harris County.
Tomball parkway was closed in both directions for several hours as crews worked to clear the wreckage.

The crash happened at about 2:30 a.m. Deputies said a pickup truck was at the intersection when the driver of a Chevy Impala crashed into it. The driver of the car did not survive. The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.
Investigators said officers searched the Impala and found drugs. Deputies are investigating if the driver was under the influence at the time of the wreck. They are also looking into whether the driver of the pickup truck had been drinking.
