HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – When a woman from Alabama tried to put her grandchild into a crib, she had no idea that millions of people across the internet were going to laugh about it.
Valerie Sharp is known as "Vivi" to her grandchildren. Her daughter, Nikki Bishop, describes her as "vertically challenged" because she is only 5 feet tall.

Sharp went to put her granddaughter, Lola, to sleep in her crib on Nov. 11. She stepped onto a stool that was placed in front of the crib and tried to put Lola down carefully without waking her up.
Unfortunately, she didn't accomplish that. Sharp tumbled over into the crib - though not on top of Lola - and the video was captured on the baby monitor.
"My mom is going to kill me but I had to post. For those of you who don't know my mom, she is 5 ft and has always been vertically challenged. I love this crazy woman!" Bishop wrote on Facebook.
Of course, Lola woke up.
"It kind of happened rather quickly," Sharp told the "Today" show. "I was so thankful that the way that I had her in my arms my body didn't touch her or hit her in any way as I went down. The worst that happened was that I jolted the mattress, and with that, she woke up."
The video has gone viral, with more than 36 million views since it was posted on Facebook Nov. 15.
"When I posted it, I thought it would get a good laugh, and I was surprised when it got 90 views," Bishop told "Today." "I said, 'Mom, I've got to tell you something,'"
"Oh my gosh, everybody is looking at my butt!" Sharp told her daughter.
Sharp said she's happy that her fall is at least making everyone laugh and smile.
