While Tuesday was a washout, it lacked the intensity to see any flooding problems. Wednesday’s storms look more intense but not as widespread.

Here’s what we are watching as we get into the afternoon and evening: We continue to watch a low but real, flash flood risk as more rain and thunderstorms head our way this afternoon and evening.

Your weather team is watching the chance for heavy rain and thunderstorms for your drive home today.

4 pm: We’ll watch for the majority of storms just south of I-10.

6 pm: We’ll watch for storms south of I-10 and on the east side of the map.

9 pm: The majority of the activity will be near Victoria, right outside of our area.
