TIMELINE: Flood Watch issued through Friday night for Houston, tracking waves of rain and storms

HOUSTON – A flood watch has been issued for Harris County, as well as Liberty, Fort Bend, Wharton, Austin, Colorado and Waller counties. The watch remains into effect until midnight.

Houston has seen multiple incidents of street ponding and flooding, as multiple rounds of storms dropped over 4 inches of rain in some spots.

Continue to watch for street flooding and ponding if you have plans for Friday night.
