Cold front brings rain Monday

Labor Day we will see highs in the low 90s, lows in the low 70s. The sea breeze may bring in a few showers along the coast but they'll have a hard time moving inland.

The cold front moves in through Wednesday, bringing a chance for showers and thunderstorms mainly Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. Rainfall totals will be light, around .5 to 1 inch area wide.

The payoff is fall weather for the remainder of the week with sunny skies, highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid-60s

Hurricane Irma continues to strengthen as a Category 3 storm moving west towards the Leeward Islands. While the track is still uncertain, areas along the eastern U.S. coastline need to watch the storm very carefully, as it appears to try to turn NNW by next the weekend.
