Heat advisory for some as the heat index climbs to 110°. Here's what to know ~Caroline
We are hot, humid and hazy across SE Texas! Temperatures are in the 90s, but it feels much worse.
The humidity combined with temperatures climbing to the mid-90s this afternoon will create a dangerous heat index for our western cities. A heat advisory is in place through 8PM today for Burleson, Brazos, Washington, Grimes, Colorado, Austin, Waller, Wharton and Inland Jackson Counties. The heat index will climb to 110°. The range in Houston is 104°-107°.
Tonight will be partly cloudy and warm with overnight lows right around 80 degrees. Winds will be from the south at 10-15mph.
Wednesday will once again be hot, humid, and hazy. Highs will be in the mid-90s but it will feel as high as 106° in Houston. The only change in our forecast is a 20% chance of showers and storms.
Please be careful in the heat! Drink plenty of water and listen to your body. If you need a break, take a break!
