Your Forecast:
Winds will stick around for the rest of the evening, likely still 15-20 mph through Saturday morning. There is a small chance to see some storms fire up late across our far northern counties but nothing too extreme.
Saturday’s Forecast:
The cool front that brings storms doesn’t arrive until Sunday afternoon. But Saturday will be windy! A wind advisory may be issued and the southeast wind gusts will affect your outdoor plans. Wind gusts could get as high at 40mph.
Sunday’s forecast:
A cool front moves far enough south Sunday to create a line of thunderstorms that will move into Southeast Texas. The timing is afternoon to night. These storms can be strong brining lightning and a street flood threat. We repeat this pattern Monday.
10-Day Forecast:
We head into a drier weather pattern as we start the month of May. We are still waiting on that first 90° day of the year but it appears that next weekend may give us our last taste of spring!
