HOUSTON – The Houston Ballet's four-day holiday shopping extravaganza, the Nutcracker Market, opens Thursday at NRG Park.
All weekend, shoppers will experience a wonderland featuring hundreds of vendors offering unique items for the entire family, including home décor, gourmet food, apparel, accessories, toys, garden items and more.
General admission tickets may be purchased at the market for $20.
Special event tickets must be purchased in advance.
Proceeds from ticket sales and 10% of all the merchandise sold benefit the Houston Ballet Foundation, its Academy and scholarship programs.
Since 1981, the Nutcracker Market has contributed over $53 million back to the Houston Ballet.
