KPRC 2 and our partners at Energy Transfer, Houston Christian University and Exclusive Furniture are featuring The Restoration Team and the incredible work they do to help families around Houston with free safety upgrades to their aging and weather-damaged homes.

With a focus on repairing properties that suffered loss or destruction during natural disasters like floods and hurricanes, The Restoration Team is making an impact on families that otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford critical home safety improvements and repairs. According to their website, The Restoration Team has assisted more than 560 families and counting with home repairs at no charge to the homeowners.

The Restoration Team currently needs volunteers to help with cleanup efforts after Hurricane Beryl. Whether you are a skilled repair professional or a novice, your help is needed and volunteer activities for all skill levels are available. You can learn more and sign-up to volunteer here. Volunteers must be age 14 or older.

If your family would like to request assistance from The Restoration Team, you must live in one of these zip codes: 77016, 77024, 77026, 77028, 77042, 77043, 77044, 77055, 77057, 77077, 77078, 77079, 77080. You can fill out a form to request assistance with your home repairs here.
