Mac and cheese recalled over salmonella fears

No description found

TreeHouse Foods voluntarily recalled some of its macaroni and cheese products over salmonella concerns.

The source of the contamination is the powdered milk used in the product from a Virginia processing plant.

The powder was used in Aldi Cheese Club Express Mac with best by dates between Nov. 3 and Nov. 28, 2017.

Walmart Great Value brand macaroni and cheese original cups with best by dates between Oct. 2 and Nov. 21 were also recalled.

The company advised customers to throw the products away or take them back to the store for a refund.
