HOUSTON – Galveston County voters cast their ballot for the 2024 primary runoff election on May 28 to select candidates to be on the November ballot for specific races.
A primary runoff election is held when no candidate gets enough votes to win the primary election.
Winners in Tuesday’s runoff will be on the ballot for their party in the November general election.
The polls opened at 7 a.m. and closed at 7 p.m. on Election Day.
