San Jacinto County voters cast their ballot for the 2024 primary runoff election on May 28 to select candidates in key races for the November ballot.

Republican Party:

San Jacinto County Commissioner Precinct 1

Luke Sweeney vs. Laddie Mcanally

San Jacinto County Commissioner Precinct 3

James Moody vs. Crystal Dominy

San Jacinto County Constable Precinct 1

Rae Phillips vs. Lonnie Thomas

Kevin Freed vs. Peter Sparta

A primary runoff election is held when no candidate gets enough votes to win the primary election.

Winners in Tuesday’s runoff will be on the ballot for their party in the November general election.

The polls opened at 7 a.m. and closed at 7 p.m. on Election Day.
