Potente Truffle Pasta (Potente)

HOUSTON – Last week we asked Insiders “Where is the best restaurant in Houston?” Responses were all over the city, from Nancy’s Hustle to The Union Kitchen and of course a few Whataburger’s. Out of all the feedback there is no doubt that Potente is an easy favorite with the overwhelming expression of how amazing it is. One Insider stated “Potente on the corner of Texas and Crawford. Chef Danny and the whole staff will make your dining experience unforgettable.”

It’s no question why Houstonians are in love with Potente, a sophisticated Italian restaurant, with a dining experience like no other in downtown Houston. Its interior is evocative of an Italian Villa with a modern twist, featuring a spacious bar alongside the main dining space. Potente focuses on using local products and only the highest quality ingredients. In November 2020, Potente’s truffle pasta was featured as “One of the Best Pastas in the Country” by the Food Network. The restaurant is owned by Jim Crane and the kitchen is overseen by Executive Chef Danny Trace.
