HOUSTON – Every winery has its own unique charm, but some rise above the rest. From wineries with gorgeous grounds to those featuring elaborate architecture, this is our list of the three most beautiful wineries in Texas you need to visit.

Majek Vineyard & Winery was founded in 2012 by entrepreneur Lynne Majek. It features wines made from Blanc Du Bois and Black Spanish grapes, as well as dry red blends, Mourvedre, Barbera, Moscato, and more. They offer a $15 tasting flight and a wine club membership that boats an amazing 25% off the entire menu and a complementary glass of wine at each visit. Beyond wines they have a delicious selection of foods from rosemary sourdough bread, to blackberry and raspberry pie. Want to bring your little ones? Families are welcome and Majek Vineyard & Winery even has a kid’s charcuterie! This gorgeous winery is nestled about two hours west of Houston off I-10 toward San Antonio.

Haak Vineyards & Winery

Haak Vineyards & Winery was founded in 1969 by Raymond and Gladys Haak after Gladys gave her husband two Concord grapevines for their anniversary. What began in 1969 as an anniversary gift of grapevines has grown into a full-fledged business with a lovely outdoor area. The winery also includes an impressive collection of international artwork reminiscent of the Mediterranean region where the art and science of winemaking originated. Book a tasting room experience and get a behind-the-scenes look at this beautiful winery just outside of Houston toward Galveston.

Bernhardt Winery

Come for the wine and stay for the charm. Perfect for a nice beautiful evening, this Bernhardt Winery sits on 20 acres of vineyards and a stunning bed-and-breakfast to relax the weekend away. Their crafted wines are good as are the entertainment they provide on the weekends. Founded in 2001 by Jerry Bernhardt. He expanded the winery beyond vineyard to include an event room replacing the original wine room. A range of events takes place at Bernhardt Winery throughout the year from weddings, dinners, and music festivals. You can enjoy this winery by taking a quick one-hour trip north, located off 249.
