HOUSTON – It’s almost time to rodeo, Houston!
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo announced the 2024 entertainer lineup Thursday.
The star-studded lineup will be as follows:
- Country, Blake Shelton - Tuesday, Feb. 27
- Country, Carly Pearce - Wednesday, Feb. 28
- Christian, For King + Country - Thursday, Feb. 29
- Hip Hop/Rap, 50 Cent - Friday, Mar. 1
- Country, Hardy - Saturday, Mar. 2
- Latin, Ivan Cornejo - Sunday, Mar. 3
- Country, Hank Williams Jr. - Monday, Mar. 4
- Country, Oliver Anthony - Tuesday, Mar. 5
- Country, Jelly Roll - Wednesday, Mar. 6
- Country, Luke Bryan - Thursday, Mar. 7
- EDM, Major Lazer - Friday, Mar. 8
- Country, Lainey Wilson - Saturday, Mar. 9
- Norteno, Los Tigre Del Norte - Sunday, Mar. 10
- Country Rock, Whiskey Myers - Monday, Mar. 11
- Rock, Nickelback - Wednesday, Mar. 13

Each night, a musical guest takes the stage to entertain the crowds. The star entertainers begin performing after the last rodeo event is completed each evening and the stage is set. Actual start times for the concert can vary from day to day due to the different number of rodeo competitors and other production elements.
- Weekday rodeos start at 6:45 p.m. The entertainer takes the stage at approximately 9 p.m. NRG Stadium gates open at 6 p.m.
- Weekend rodeos start at 2:45 p.m. The entertainer takes the stage at approximately 5 p.m. NRG Stadium gates open at 2 p.m.
The 2024 rodeo is scheduled for Feb. 27 – March 17.
This year’s 2024 Downtown Rodeo Parade Grand Marshal will be Arch “Beaver” Aplin III, who is known for creating one of Texas’ most iconic brands: Buc-ee’s! Aplin and the Buc-ee’s Beaver mascot will kick off the parade on Feb. 24.
The 2024 World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, presented by Cotton Holdings, is scheduled for Feb. 22 – 24.
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo promotes agriculture by hosting an annual, family-friendly experience that educates and entertains the public, supports Texas youth, showcases Western heritage, and provides year-round educational support within the community. Since its beginning in 1932, the rodeo has surpassed $600 million in funding for Texas students and education.
