HOUSTON – Season 5 of ‘The Evidence Room’ kicked off Tuesday night with a KPRC 2 Insider exclusive premiere event!

Ten Insiders and their plus ones were invited to the KPRC 2 studios to view the first episode of the new season, “The Long Hallway.” They also got to dine with the KPRC 2 Investigates team and get their questions about our award-winning true crime docuseries answered by the creators themselves, along with our special guest - Harris County Assistant District Attorney John Jordan.
We dive into Season 5 of ‘The Evidence Room’ with a case that gripped the nation in 2018 when 17-year-old Dimitrios Pagourtzis shot and killed eight of his classmates and two teachers.
In this new episode of ‘The Evidence Room,’ never-before-heard details were revealed about the actions of those impacted by that traumatic day. We also took a closer look at the psychological depth of the gunman - who has yet to stand trial.
After viewing the episode, Insiders asked questions and got answers about the Santa Fe killer case and other cases featured in past seasons of “The Evidence Room.”
The Insiders asked Investigative Reporter Robert Arnold about reaching out to the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office, Santa Fe students, and the parents of Pagourtzis. Robert said all declined to interview or didn’t answer any of our phone calls.
Robert was also asked how many school shootings he has covered, which he answered, two - Santa Fe and Uvalde.
