HOUSTON – Adjustments to Broadway at the Hobby Center’s 2020-2021 season schedule were made as the coronavirus pandemic continues to shut down theatre production on stages.
Broadway shows such as “Tootsie”, “Mean Girls" and “Beautiful”, originally scheduled for the beginning of 2021, were pushed to a later date but will remain part of the season. Others, such as “To Kill A Mockingbird,” were canceled and will be rescheduled for a future date, according to a news release.

Subscribers will continue to keep the same seats for shows scheduled for January and February, according to the news release. Subscribers can also choose to receive a credit, refund, or donate the value of tickets for shows canceled within the current season.
The team at Broadway at the Hobby Center’s priority continues to be the health and safety of crew, cast, staff, and audiences, the theatre said in a statement.

- “Jesus Christ Superstar” - May 11-16, 2021
- “Hadestown” - June 8-13, 2021
- “Wicked” - June 23 - August 1, 2021
- “My Fair Lady” - September 14 -19, 2021
- “Tootsie” - Dates TBA
- “Mean Girls” - Dates TBA
- “Beautiful” - Dates TBA
- “To Kill A Mockingbird” - Cancelled
