7-year-old Cafe contains the same amount of happiness as what you get when you sip your first cup of coffee in the morning.
Cafe (Spanish for “coffee”) is a Chihuahua that fits all the personality traits of the breed, according to Houston Humane Society. She enjoys being a lap dog, especially when you leave a pillow for her to lay on.
She tends to be mellow, as she is an older pup, and loves company! Not to mention, she loves walking on the leash!
Meet Cafe at the Houston Humane Society, located at 14700 Almeda Rd. in southwest Houston, open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. If you’re interested in welcoming Cafe into your home, you can jump-start the adoption process by filling out this form.

KPRC 2 Pet Project follow-up: Stefani
In February, we met Stefani, a pup named after RodeoHouston performer and forever “Hollaback Girl” Gwen Stefani. She and her seven siblings have ALL been adopted to multiple families!
Stefani will be going home to a family who lost their 16-year-old dog recently. Her adopted told Houston Humane Society that when she met Stefani, she was unsure of adopting a puppy at first, but she instantly connected with her kids. It was a match made!
The family shared that Stefani will be spoiled with all the toys that’ll help her become a well-trained girl. The kids are wanting to buy her chew toys, puzzles and more!
