HOUSTON – Clouds and fog overnight are ushering in rain for the Friday morning commute, so plan for extra time getting around.

The rain will lighten up in the late afternoon, and we get a break Friday night. But we could see more wet weather Saturday morning.

From weather advisories and forecast models to current road conditions, here’s how KPRC 2 can help.

Flood Tracker

KPRC 2 has partnered with the Harris County Flood Control District in order to better serve our community during weather events.

Any time there’s significant rainfall in the Houston area, you’ll can see exactly which regions are seeing the greatest impact at Click2Houston.com/floodtracker.

KPRC 2′s expert meteorologists have flood gauge maps they can use to show you current conditions. When all the gauges are green, we’re in great shape. When gauges start to change to yellow and red, water is rising. This is an easy, visual way to see when and where people and property are most at risk of flooding.
