Get ready to live your Malibu Barbie dream right here in Houston! Bucket Listers says it has created an exclusive, immersive dining experience at The Malibu Barbie Café. This pop-up, nestled at Junction HTX on Washington Avenue, could be your ticket to a retro-glam, beachy wonderland inspired by the iconic Malibu Barbie.

You can explore the space, which is decked out in nostalgic 1970s Malibu California decor, complete with beachy motifs and a pop of Barbie colors from Aug. 16 through mid-October.

From roller skating at the Impala x Barbie Skate Rink to cupcake decorating classes, there’s something for everyone.

What’s on the menu?

With each reservation, you’ll receive a $10 food credit and a $5 merchandise retail credit to splurge on Barbie-themed goodies. Your 90-minute table reservation ensures you have time to enjoy the curated menu by Chef Becky Brown, a Master Chef finalist. From Pacific Paradise Pancakes to West Coast Wave Salad, the menu promises a delightful culinary journey with a Barbie twist.

What you need to know

  • For the adults, don’t miss 21+ pink roller discos on Saturday nights.
  • Roller skate for just $1, with all proceeds benefiting Girls Inc., an organization dedicated to empowering young girls in Houston.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and while walk-ins aren’t allowed, purchasing your tickets in advance guarantees you won’t miss out.
  • Parties up to six can be seated together, making it perfect for group outings.
  • Gratuity is not included in the ticket price, so a 20% gratuity will be charged at the end of your visit
  • All sales are final with no refunds or exchanges, so plan your visit wisely.
