Welcome the fall season with DIY pumpkin spice latte

Today’s forecast shows Houston’s temperatures climbing close to record highs yet again. We’re expecting a high of 92°F, just a few degrees shy of the 95°F record set back in 1956. The average for this time of year? A much cooler 85°F.

But if you’re tired of the heat, there’s some good news on the horizon! A cold front is set to roll in later this week, bringing daytime highs in the 80s and cooler overnight lows dipping into the 60s.

  • Average lows: 66-56°F
  • Hottest day: October 1, 1900 – 99°F
