Bandista at the Four Seasons

At the Four Season’s speakeasy Bandista, the drinks have a story and the staff offers attention to detail like no other. But first, Chris has to find the secret entrance to this cocktail laboratory!
Inside, he finds cocktails designed to please all the senses including a twist on the classic Pimm’s cup and the Ritual, a smoky drink designed for two.
Johnny’s Gold Brick
2518 Yale St. | Houston
In the Heights, Johnny’s Gold Brick offers a homey experience with progressive craft cocktails that are easy on the wallet. Chris tries the Old Fashioned from their list of $9.99 craft cocktails and a sampling from the seasonal menu where the bartenders get to flex their creativity.
Don’t drink alcohol? Chris learns they’ve got that covered too with carefully curated mocktails.
The Toasted Coconut
1617 Richmond Ave. | Houston
Then, Chris heads closer to home to his own neighborhood spot, The Toasted Coconut in Montrose.
The drinks at this tiki bar showcase rums from around the world. Chris tries out the signature Toasted Coconut and the Blood and Sandals, a modern riff on the classic drink Blood and Sands.
