DeAndre Nico is just a regular guy from Port Arthur who got a four chair turn on The Voice

HOUSTON – DeAndre Nico has been through a lot these past few years.

Hurricane Harvey completely destroyed his home... but that did not stop him from auditioning on The Voice.

"We still don't have a home right now, but we're making it. For me it was a leap I had to do, I just had to jump into something I knew I wanted to do," DeAndre said. 

DeAndre's beautiful voice got all FOUR judges to turn their chairs around for him. 

"I was very nervous. Adam turned around first but when everyone else started turning around my hands started shaking. It was really crazy," DeAndre said. 

DeAndre ended up choosing Adam Levine as his mentor and coach.
